COURSE LOAD AND GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

The undergraduate program curriculum was developed by the departmental curriculum Commission and approved by the University Senate following a decision taken by the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Sports Sciences.
Course grades and graduation status are made using the principles of the credit system and the rating scale of the evaluation board. In order to graduate, students must meet the minimum graduation credit requirement (240 credits) and successfully complete all compulsory courses along with elective courses determined by the department or the program in which they are enrolled.
There are four types of courses: compulsory, elective, pre-conditional and foreign language supported. Students are required to take all compulsory courses unless they are exempt. Elective courses are usually in the professional / technical field, but depending on the area of interest, students can also take elective courses opened by another department or program. Departments can also have pre-conditional courses, these courses are approved by the University Senate.
